G. W. Robinson Builders, Inc. and Tommy Williams Homes
will be recognized this month by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) for their leadership and commitment to
building energy efficient homes. They are partners with the Building America Industrialized Housing Partnership which includes the
Florida Home Energy Resources Organization who assisted the builders in reaching their goals.
The public ceremony starts at 1:30 pm (Refreshments) with Recognition Ceremony at 2:00 pm at
the Gainesville Area
Chamber of Commerce office on
April 25, 2007 - which the
Alachua County Commission
has declared “Building America Day.”
The certificates will be presented by Mr. Steve Chalk, Acting Program Manager for Building Technologies in the DOE Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy as well as Program Manager for Solar Technology.
